College Recruiting Information

 

To find a Division I, II, or III college:

  1. Go to www.ncaa.org
  2. On the left is the heading Fall Sports. Put your cursor on the heading and click on football.
  3. Scroll down and you will see: School and Conference Athletic Sites. Click View
  4. You will now have 3 choices: Division I, Division II or Division III. Click on whichever one you want.
  5. There will now be 2 columns: School Sport Sites and Conference Sites. Use the School Sport Sites and find the college you want.

To find a NAIA college:

  1. Go to www.naia.org
  2. On the left hand side is Fall Sports, click on Football
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on MEMBERS
  4. This takes you to a list of NAIA colleges. You just click on the school name.

THINGS YOU MUST AND NEED TO DO TO PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL:

  1. Fill out the NCAA Clearinghouse form – Colleges cannot call you until you do this
  2. Maintain a 2.25 grade point average or better
  3. Take the ACT as soon as possible. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOUR SENIOR YEAR

 

When you send a school a video, you need to include the following things:

  1. Name                                             9. Coach's Name – Jed Davis
  2. Address                                       10. Grade point average
  3. Phone Number                             11. ACT score
  4. Position                                        12. 40 time
  5. Jersey Number                             13. Bench and squat maxes
  6. School Name                                14. Your email address
  7. School address                            15. Coaches email address
  8. Football office phone number      16. Graduation Date

Make sure you put “Attn: Football Offices” on the envelope.

It will cost approximately $1.50 - $2.20 per envelope with 1 DVD.

For every game you want on DVD, you will need to give a coach a blank DVD or $2.00.

If you want us to make and print you DVD covers, it will cost you $50 for 50 Covers. The reason for this is that it costs us $50 for the ink in the printers to print 50 covers.

Almost every college website has something called a “Prospective Athlete Questionnaire” or “Recruiting Questionnaire”. If you are interested in a college, you should fill out this form online. It gives those coaches all your information. This will put you in that colleges mailing system so you will receive information on that particular school. Use the steps above to find the college and then you should be able to find the questionnaire.
